City Surveys Ltd was founded in 2015 by Tony Jackson BSc (Hons) MRICS, who carries out all inspections and report-writing for the company. A chartered building surveyor since 2001 and an expert witness since 2019, Tony brings years of experience in conducting detailed inspections and producing reports for the residential and commercial sectors.

Having been instructed as an Expert Witness by both defendants and claimants on housing disrepair claims since 2019, Tony has developed expertise in the field of defect diagnosis, particularly in relation to damp. He has undertaken hundreds of residential surveys in connection with housing disrepair matters throughout Yorkshire.

An accredited Domestic Energy Assessor through Elmhurst Energy, Tony also regularly produces domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for vendors and landlords, and provides an EPC simulation service to determine the most feasible way of achieving a desired rating.
